Lette to my Senator
Now I ask one simple question. Explain to me, your constituent, how a tax cut is going to generate 3 million jobs in less than 18 months.
Tell me the numbers, historically, how tax cuts under Bush and Reagan actually generated jobs. This has become the single remaining tenant of whatever it is that calls itself the republican party. Now prove it. Prove to the world with factual numbers based on reality how it is that a tax break is going to rebuild our rapidly dissolving infrastructure.
Now tell me when the city of Houston (the 4th largest city in the USA) will have a metro rail system that can take me to work. When will abandon unregulated coal burning power companies that charge Texans the 4th highest rate for KWH usage.
If we made every corporation and large company pay their full and measured due of taxes, with zero tax breaks, our deficit would be our surplus. And my children would be going to a school that could compete with India.
You are standing for a version of the American dream that we were ALL meant to share beside a group of people who would refuse to help pay for it. It's called greed and that sir does not represent me nor more than half of the PEOPLE and CONSTITUENTS you were sent to our great capital to represent. You took an oath, by the good lord Jesus, to honor and fulfill your obligation to both the Constitution of this great land but also the people you were elected to represent. Not just the upper 1% who helped finance your campaign.
America burns and all that matters is an election cycle, platforms and partisan politics. The GOP has, unfortunately, become this dinosaur rooted in religious zealotry and divisive politics of hate and racism. Lincoln would roll over in is grave could he see you today and rightly so.
Now please honor your oath sir, not just to me but the Constitution and to the long line of patriots greater than both your or I.

Bumper Stickers

It seems that there is quite a demand for some of my bumper stickers. I'm usually the first one to give them away; just to help spread the good news. But it does cost me some money to have them printed professionally and since I'm not really looking to make a profit; all that I ask for is donations.

Any money that is generated over the cost of printing will be donated to the Barrack Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign. I would recommend a $5 donation for each bumper sticker requested to cover printing and mailing costs and still be able to give a minimum to the campaign. Thanks for the interest and spread the good news to friends and family. If we see a nice uptake then I'll move this to a more professional site with a cart and payment options.

Thanks,
The Stantastic

America Divided
The fact of the matter is the Primary race has been over since February and everything else is window dressing. Whether you read this as HRC setting Obama up for failure so she can run in 2012 or whether she actually believed that she could somehow some way get 90% of the remaining vote or whether she believed as she stated that Sen. Obama's life was somehow in danger. In the real world it makes no difference, because of her belief that she was somehow entitled to become president and her fuzzy math was better than the rest of the free thinking world; she has completely divided the party and caused so much in fighting that it may very well never recover. She has done more damage to the Democrat brand that a hundred Rove's and the party would do quite well without her. The campaign that she has run with it's divisive language, and Repugnant talking points was straight out of Rove's play book and she should be disgusted with not only herself but her campaign managers.
Her ONLY hope in avoiding the political fall out that WILL follow is to step up the microphone and gracefully bow out (finally) and then get behind Obama 110%. She must deliver her supporters rank and file and she must do it now. If she lags or takes this to the convention, she will lose that seat in New York as she should. Besides that , why hasn't anyone asked the real question "Why does a life long resident of Arkansas run for the Senate in New York?"
The Answer: She wouldn't have been elected by the good people of Arkansas for very good reasons. Some of those reasons she displays to us everyday.

McCain Truth
The Articles
Here are the nine articles:
1--John McCain Votes to Filibuster Minimum Wage Hike
AOL News is highly ranked on John McCain, and the minimum wage increase was incredibly popular.
2--McCain housing policy shaped by lobbyist
This article emphasizes how corporate special interests have formed McCain's economic policy. If it becomes the top ranked MSNBC article, it will appear in the top ten searches for McCain nationwide.
3--Bush, McCain plug Social Security
Seniors are going to be the key swing vote in this election, and they hate Bush's plan to privatize Social Security. This is the best polling message against McCain of all, which isn't surprising since our victory on Social Security is how began to turn the tide against Republicans and conservatives three years ago. The headline alone ties McCain to Bush, and this article already ranks very high on searches for McCain Social Security.
4--McCain blasts Obama's and Clinton's attacks on NAFTA
This is a great article because it not only ties McCain to NAFTA, which is quite unpopular, but it also draws a contrast between McCain and Democrats on the issue. The LA Times is also in the top twenty searches for John McCain.
5--McCain in NH: Would Be "Fine" To Keep Troops in Iraq for "A Hundred Years"
McCain's "100 years" statement ha damaged him already, and this article has already been significantly optimized on Google. While Mother Jones is not an ideal news source, it is the top article for this quote, and appears in the top thirty searches for John McCain already.
6--McCain: Bush right to veto kids health insurance expansion
This is my personal favorite. The headline just makes McCain look like an asshole, and ties him to Bush. Who is opposed to health insurance for kids? CNN also is in the top ten searches for McCain and John McCain A lot of people will see this one.
7--Senate passes expanded GI bill despite Bush, McCain opposition
While I am not thrilled about using Salon, since it isn't as well known, and since there is an advertising wall that hides the story, the title is damaging enough. McCain's opposition to the GI Bill really hurts him, and tying him to Bush is just as bad. This title does both in a clear, straightforward manner.
8--McCain says overturn the law that legalized abortion
Pretty straightforward, and extremely important. More than half of all women voters think that McCain is pro-choice. This will quickly change their minds.
The classic McCain SEO, that still appears in top thirty searches for McCain and John McCain. It is also proof positive that this campaign will work, because it appears as the second CBS news article, but still on the front page in Google searches just below the CBS election center information on John McCain. That is all we need to do to get it on the front page of searches about McCain--optimize it against other CBS articles. Also, even though this SEO campaign was abandoned fifteen months ago, it still ranks in the top forty in McCain searches. If a fifteen month old campaign is still that effective, imagine what we can do with enough participation in this campaign.
